【国際コミュニケーション学科】国際バカロレア機構との合意協定を締結－IB教員養成プログラム（IBCTL-DP）が正式認証されました

2026年5月2日、相模女子大学は、国際バカロレア（International Baccalaureate: IB）機構との合意協定を締結し、国際バカロレア（IB）教員養成プログラム（Global Education Program: IB DP）の正式認証を受けました。
日本で9番目、全国の女子大学として初めての認証とともに、神奈川県でも唯一の認証です。
世界ではおよそ60の高等教育機関で提供されているプログラムですが、本学もIBコミュニティの一員となりました。本プログラムは、学芸学部 国際コミュニケーション学科において提供します。
本プログラムでは、高等学校段階のIBディプロマプログラムを指導できる「IB Certificate in Teaching and Learning, DP」の取得を通じて、国際基準のIB教員として活躍できる力を養います。在学中に、学士号（国際コミュニケーション学）・中学・高校の英語教員免許（１種免許状）・IB教員養成証書（IBCTL-DP）の３つを同時取得できます。

On May 2, 2026, Sagami Women's University entered into a framework agreement with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Organization and received official recognition for its IB Certificate in Teaching and Learning, DP (Global Education Program: IB DP).
This makes Sagami Women's University the 9th university in Japan — and the first women's university and the only institution in Kanagawa Prefecture — to receive this recognition. The program is offered by approximately 60 higher education institutions worldwide, and Sagami Women's University is proud to join this global community. The program is offered through the Department of International Communication.
This program enables students to earn the IB Certificate in Teaching and Learning, DP, preparing them to teach the IB Diploma Programme at the upper secondary level and developing their capacity to work as internationally recognized educators. Students can simultaneously earn three qualifications: a Bachelor's degree (International Communication), a secondary school teaching license (English as a Foreign Language- Type 1 certificate), and the IB Certificate in Teaching and Learning, DP (IBCTL-DP).
